MLBummer

It’s pretty rare to call a staff meeting EXCITING, but I got excited today, talking about our plans for Easter Sunday. What a privilege it is to proclaim the resurrection at St. Andrew's! In the imagery of the Parable of the Great Feast, won’t you please help fill our house by offering generous invitations to attend this, our most High and Holy day of the year?

I’m kind of bummed out at Major League Baseball right now. Being a big St. Louis Cardinals fan, the move from Missouri to Nebraska was made more palatable by knowing I could follow the Cards on cable TV, via the Major League Baseball package. As I understand it, to get the service this season, I’m going to have to switch to satellite. I’ve never had satellite television before. Do any of you have it? Does it actually work?

WOMEN OF ST. ANDREWS:

Our speaker will be Dr. Diana Doyle. The subject will be women’s heart health-a topic that has been getting a lot of press lately. Save the date-invite a friend and come for an evening of food and fellowship and leave with information on keeping you heart healthy.

Hebrews 1:1-3, Long ago God spoke to our ancestors in many and various ways by the prophets, but in these last days he has spoken to us by a Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, through whom he also created the worlds. He is the reflection of God’s glory and the exact imprint of God’s very being, and he sustains all things by his powerful word.
