I swallowed a lot of dust last week in Nicaragua. Sitting in the doctor’s office today, I remembered that respiratory illness is a leading cause of death in rural Nicaragua. The only medical care back in there is from doctors funded by the Rainbow Network. Among the components of our partnership with the community of San Andres is underwriting the local physician and the medicines. I just put a picture of the Rainbow doctor on the web page. Go to www.standrewsomaha.net and hit the San Andres link. While you’re at it, please share the page with any and all you think might be interested and invite them to our big celebration, the evening of March 25.

JAMIE S. WRITES: There is a survey on the St. Andrew's website right now. The goal of this survey is to help us understand what the congregation needs/wants for "connecting with others" and "growing in faith" at St. Andrews. I would like the opportunity to get everyone's opinions of what St. Andrew's is doing/could do to meet their needs and the best form of communication the church has to reach our congregation is A-mail. We currently have 34 people who have taken the survey...I'd like to see this number be in the 100's. You can take the survey by going to the home page of the church web site: www.standrewsomaha.net and hitting CLICK HERE TO TAKE OUR SURVEY, or by going directly to the following site: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.asp?u=634573217706

Psalms 105: 1-4, “O give thanks to the Lord, call on his name, make known his deeds among the peoples. Sing to him, sing praises to him; tell of all his wonderful works. Glory in his holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice. Seek the Lord and his strength; seek his presence continually.”
