Glowing

Nancy and I are in meetings today and tomorrow in Schuyler, Nebraska, but I’m still glowing from yesterday and wanted to say a word of thanks to all involved. Craig S. has already posted a gallery of photos taken last night. They can be accessed at his web site:

I’ll write more about all this later in the week, but from the opening “This Is The Day” at 8:00 yesterday morning, through the final “Amen,” circa 8:30 last night, it was a great day to be a part of St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church.

YOUTH DIRECTOR BOB D. writes: I took five youth (one of which played the piano) and ten Methodist hymnals to Maple Ridge Adult Living Community to participate in our first Hymn Sing with the residents. We had a blast! The residents were so appreciative of our youth spending part of their Sunday afternoon with them. We will continue to sing with the residents at least one Sunday per month. It was great to see all the smiles on the resident’s faces; you could feel God at work!
