NOTE FROM NANCY – Laurel P., her daughter Casey and I went to St. Cecillia’s Cathedral last week to see the quilt display of people from the Bible. These are just so beautiful and truly works of art! If you want to experience some of the biblical stories in a new way, go down and see these quilts. Amazing!

Thursday, September 6 & 13 @ 6:30 p.m. or
Sunday,- September 23 & 30 @ 10:30–12:30 pm
Discover your top five signature themes using Gallup’s StrengthsFinder® Profile. Discuss what these signature themes mean to you and how they impact the way you work and serve. Purchase your own copy of StrengthsFinder 2.0 by Tom Rath. Read and be ready to discuss at the first class, the Introduction & Part I: Finding Your Strengths. Please do not take the Profile before the first class. Small groups will form after the study, to further discuss your themes and how to use them.

If Grace Is True
Begins Monday, September 10 @ 9:00 a.m.
If Grace is True is a personal experience of God's grace that leads the authors to reject the view that God will save only some people and the rest will be damned. Simply and persuasively written from experience and observation, this book will help anyone to a deeper understanding of God. Cathi R. and Judy W. will facilitate this class. The cost of the book is $13.95.


World Religions

During this eight-week study you will learn about Judaism, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, and Christianity, and how we all can live and work together. Journey into a world of new spiritual thought—and rediscover your own. Nancy Davis will facilitate this class. The cost of the book is $10.

St. Andrew’s Book Club
Second Monday of Each Month @ 7 p.m.
The selection for Sept. 10 is Sit, Walk, Stand by Watchman Nee. This book takes an inspiring look at Ephesians. Learn what it means to "sit" with Christ, "walk" as a Christian in the world, and "stand" up to Satan.
