BOB D. writes: A few youth and I got some really good practice carving pumpkins with the residents at the Parson’s House last Saturday afternoon. Watching our youth spend part of their Saturday afternoon in service to others was wonderful. It was so cute at one of the tables, the ladies who were residents where sharing with me how old they were. One started off by saying “I’m 91” then another lady would look at the one who just spoke and would then say “well I’m 93” this went on and on. They really enjoyed sharing their stories with our youth. I hope that when I am in my 90’s some youth group as kind as ours comes to visit me!

We are collecting socks and underwear of all sizes for the project “STAND UP AGAINST POVERTY” to donate. There will be a drop off basket located on the youth table in the Rotunda.

Prayers for Divorce Care 4 Kids, as plans are being made. Prayers for Suzie, who possibly has kidney failure (friend of Denise J.). Prayers for Ruth F., continuing to battle health issues; pray for strength, faith and courage (mother of Dave & Gina F.). Prayers for Bobbi L., hospitalized with a blood clot.
