The Soup Supper is Wednesday February 6th at 6:00 pm. Faith Circle will serve Chili, Chicken Noodle Soup, Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwiches, and homemade Cookies before the 7 pm service. Tickets will be on sale before and after services on January 27th and February 3rd. Cost is $5, kids under 3 are free. Please plan to join us!

I am writing to thank you for the use of your sanctuary for “The Bullet Proof Mind Seminar” on January 4, 2008. The facilities provided the right atmosphere for our personnel to learn and heal from the tragedies of December 5th.
The feedback provided by the participants at your facility was very positive. We also appreciate the hospitality of your staff, especially Ms. Judy H., who was of great assistance answering questions and with the preparation.

SENIOR HIGH LOCK-IN is this Friday at 10pm to Saturday 6am. We need parent volunteers to help! Please e-mail Bob to sign up to help.

MIDDLE SCHOOL night at the movies is this Saturday. We will be watching National Treasure: Book of Secrets at 7pm (20 Grand movie theater). Please e-mail Bob by Wednesday to sign up.

The senior high youth will be offering SUPER BOWL SUBS again this year as a mission trip fund raiser. The youth will be taking orders the next two Sundays at the youth table located in the Rotunda. Subs will be made fresh on Sunday Feb. 3 for you to pick up.

OUR NEW WORSHIP SCHEDULE LAUNCHES THE WEEKEND OF MARCH 29 & 30. We’ll be worshiping on Saturday evenings at 5:00 and Sunday mornings at 8:30 & 10:00.

Prayers for Karin S., battling multiple myeloma, not responding well to her last stem cell transplant (friend of Brooke B.). Prayers for Betty W., preparing for surgery on Tuesday (mother of David W.). Prayers for Brooke C., who has cancer (friend of Hannah L.). Prayers for Steve and Sherri C. and family; Steve has been diagnosed with a brain tumor and is preparing for treatment (friends of Carolyn and Kevin Sc.).

Romans 10:13-14: Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. But how are they to call on one in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in one of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without a preacher?
